Det är så trevligt att så många nappar på I care-konceptet(om man nu kan säga så). Bara idag har många kommit fram till mig och uppmuntrat mig och talat om att de har eller ska börja göra lite rutor. Gissa om man blir glad då! Att folk tror på en nittonårig tjej med en dröm om att hjälpa andra och faktiskt vill bidra.
En av sakerna som hände idag var att en ung kvinna fram till mig efter mötet och berättade att hennes mamma hörde mig tala om I care på nyår, hon hade blivit inspirerad och börjat sticka och sedan sent rutorna till dottern som nu överlämnade 18 care-squares till mig. Härligt!
En stund senare fick jag ett sms från min mamma där hon berättade att en av hennes väninnor planerar att ta med sig en korg med garn i och ställa på jobbet så att man kan sticka och så där :) Jag bara älskar den idén, super smart!
Tack för att du bryr dig! Låt oss fortsätta kämpa tills alla hemlösa i Uppsala har fått en egen I Care filt! Kan det finnas något bättre att engagera sig i än att glädja och uppmuntra människor som har det svårt.. Jag tror inte det.
Here we go again, I'll just start by apologizes for my bad English I hope you can bear it.
I is real nice that so many people like the whole I Care-concept. Just this day lots of people came up to me to encourage me or to say that they have or is going to start create care-squares. Guess if I am happy or what. It's hard to understand that all of you actually believe in a nineteen-year old girls dream of helping others and even wants to participate.
One thing that happened today was when a young woman came to me after church. She told me that her mother had herd me on new-years eve,she got inspired and started to knit care-squares. Now she had sent them to the daughter who delivered them to me. 18 squares, awesome!
A while later my mother sent me a text message. She wrote to tell me about a great idea one of her friend had. She (the friend) was, well she is planing on bringing a basket of yarn to work. So that they can make some care-squares wile working. I just love that idea, real clever!
Thanks for caring! And lets keep fighting until everyone of Uppsalas homeless people have their own I Care-blanket. Is there anything better than engage in sharing joy and encourage those in need.. I don't think so.
